Confirm the condition of framing, floors, walls, and adjacent structures.
Identify utilities, tanks, piping, hazardous substances, and required testing.
Document which services are disconnected, controlled, relocated, or protected.
Set exclusion zones, access controls, debris routes, and opening protection.
Stop work when the field condition does not match the survey or plan.
